SAUNA INSTRUCTIONS
Children under the age of 16 are not allowed in the sauna without a parent.
STEP 1
Open the sauna door by giving the door a sharp pull outwards - take care if it’s windy, as the wind may slam the door and potentially break the glass. When using the sauna, the glass door must be closed firmly every time and never left open. The sauna has other ventilation to air it out. If the wind catches the door and the glass is broken, you will be liable for a replacement door of $1000.
STEP 2
Turn the sauna on by turning the timer knob on the sauna heater ‘clockwise’ (to the right) until the marker lines up with ‘1h’ - This means the sauna heater will be on for one hour. You can extend the time max to three hours, but be careful not to turn the timer too far. Close the door properly and wait for 15-20 minutes until the sauna is heated. Do not adjust the thermostat as it may lead to to sauna heater malfunctioning.
STEP 3
Before entering the sauna, please have a shower (outdoor shower) and fill the bucket with water. You can go ‘Finnish Style’ (naked) or in your bathers...either way, please use a towel to sit on for hygiene reasons.
STEP 4
Enter the sauna and close the door - the top seat gives you the best heat - ladle some water on the hot rocks and enjoy!
STEP 5
To get the full Finnish experience, take a break in between, have a cold shower (it feels awesome!) and hydrate with a cold beverage - and then go back to the sauna. Repeat as many times you’d like.
